Here are two of my prints that were chosen for BIMPE, Biennial International Miniature Print Exhibition. The prints measure 3 x 4 inches and were etched on Lexan plates.
The prints are based on my constructed comic mythology about the origins of life, and are part of a larger series of prints. The images reference the Palelithic and Pleistocene eras, combined with happy family oriented scenes. My characters seem built of Plasticine, one of the first art materials I used as a kid. I liked creating an idealized, innocent, slightly creepy, and blissed out world.
